What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Service Animal Policy

MUV Technologies Inc.
Effective Date: 9/1/25

1. Purpose
MUV Technologies Inc. (“MUV”) is committed to providing accessible, non-discriminatory transportation services to all users, including individuals with disabilities who rely on service animals. This policy outlines the rights of riders who use service animals and the responsibilities of MUV drivers and partners in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state laws, including those of Texas.

2. Definition of a Service Animal
Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog (or in some cases, a miniature horse) that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Guiding individuals who are blind
* Alerting individuals who are deaf
* Pulling a wheelchair
* Assisting during a seizure
* Providing physical support for balance or stability
* Retrieving items for individuals with mobility issues
* Interrupting harmful behaviors related to psychiatric disabilities
Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not covered by this policy.

3. Rider Rights
Riders who use service animals have the legal right to:
* Request and receive rides through the MUV platform without additional fees or surcharges
* Be transported without being denied service based on the presence of a service animal
* Not be asked for documentation or certification for the service animal
* Not be required to explain their disability
Drivers are permitted to ask only two questions if it is not obvious that the animal is a service animal:
1. Is the animal required because of a disability?
2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

4. Driver Responsibilities
All MUV drivers that have opted in to accept rides from users with service animals and driver-partners are required to:
* Allow service animals to accompany riders in their vehicle, regardless of personal allergies, fear of animals, or vehicle cleanliness concerns
* Treat riders with service animals with respect and professionalism
* Avoid making assumptions or asking for documentation
* Ensure compliance with all applicable ADA and Texas Human Resources Code laws
Refusing service to a rider with a service animal is a violation of this policy and may result in disciplinary action, including permanent deactivation from the MUV platform.

5. Reporting Violations
Riders who believe they have been discriminated against due to the presence of a service animal are encouraged to report the incident by:
* Using the in-app support tool
* Emailing: info@gottamuv.com
* Mailing: MUV Technologies Inc. – Compliance Department, 2200 Post Oak Blvd Suite 1000 Houston, TX 77056. MUV investigates all reports promptly, confidentially, and takes appropriate corrective actions as needed.

6. Consequences for Policy Violations
Violations of this policy by drivers may result in:
* Formal warning or re-education
* Temporary suspension from the platform
* Permanent deactivation of driver account
* Referral to the appropriate regulatory authorities if applicable
Repeat or egregious violations will not be tolerated.
