Your privacy matters to us at MUV.  This Privacy Notice (Notice) explains how MUV collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your data when you visit our website, use our products or services, or engage with us in any way. If you have any questions about the Notice, please feel free to contact us at info@gottamuv.com. You have several rights concerning your data. Please read the Notice carefully to understand what we do and what your rights are.

Who we are:

We are MUV Technologies, Inc. (MUV), the rideshare company redefining how Texans travel. MUV is different from other rideshare companies with 
•    thorough safety checks on both drivers and riders so safety comes first, 
•    clean, well-maintained vehicles that deliver comfort and reliability, and
•    lean operations so Riders get affordable transport and Drivers earn more.

References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean MUV.

Who you are

In the Notice, “you” means you as a user of MUV’s applications, websites, technology, artificial intelligence, tools, facilities, and platform (collectively, the “MUV Platform”). Users include both Riders and Drivers (including Driver applicants).

The personal data we collect

When you use the MUV Platform, we collect the data you provide to us, usage data, and data about your device. We also collect data about you from other sources like service providers which we may combine with other data we have about you.

A.    Data You Provide to Us: 
1.    Riders. When you create an account with us, we collect the data you provide to us. 
2.    Drivers. If you apply to be a Driver, we will collect the data you provide in your application. 
3.    User Content. When you rate and provide feedback about the MUV Platform, including Riders or Drivers, we collect all the data provided in your feedback. When you contact us or we contact you and when you send us messages or attachments, we collect any data you provide.

B.    Data We Collect When You Use the MUV Platform:
1.    Location Data.
a.    Riders. We collect your device’s either precise or approximate location from the time you request a ride until it ends. 
b.    Drivers. We collect your device’s precise location.
2.    Usage Data. We collect data about your use of and interactions with the MUV Platform.
3.    Device Data. We collect data about the devices you use to access the MUV Platform. If you are a Driver, we also collect mobile sensor data from your device.
4.    Cookies, Pixels, and Third-Party Tracking Technologies. We collect and use data through the use of “cookies,” tracking pixels, data analytics tools, SDKs, and other third party tracking technologies to understand how you navigate through the MUV Platform and interact with advertisements, to make your MUV experience safer, to learn what content is popular, to improve your experience with us, to serve you or others better ads, and to save your preferences.
5.    Inferences. We may infer certain data from your interaction with the MUV Platform, from data you provide to us, and from other personal data available to us.

C.    Data We Collect from Other Sources:
1.    Background Check and Identity Verification. An authorized vendor collects background check and identity verification data for Riders who create an account with us and if you apply to be a Driver with us. This background report for Riders and Drivers may include data on, but is not limited to, Social Security number verification and criminal record checks. This background report for Drivers also may include data on, but is not limited to, public, educational, and driving record checks, previous employment verification, reference checks, licenses and qualifications, credit reports, and drug tests.
2.    Service Providers and Other Parties. Service providers and other parties, such as insurance partners, financial service providers, marketing providers, and other businesses, provide us with data.
3.    Referral Program. If someone refers you to MUV, we will collect data about you from that referral.
4.    Other Users and Sources. Law enforcement, insurers, media, or pedestrians may provide us data about you.

How We Use Your Data:

To provide a safe, well maintained, affordable, and reliable experience, we use your data to:

A.    Provide the MUV Platform
B.    Maintain the Security and Safety of the MUV Platform and its Users
C.    Improve the MUV Platform
D.    Provide Customer Support
E.    Engage in Research and Development, 
F.    Respond to Legal Proceedings and Requirements. 
G.   Provide our User loyalty programs

How We Share Your Data

We may share your data with other users where necessary to provide our services or features, at your request, or with your consent. We also share data with service providers and partners, for legal reasons, or in connection with claims and disputes.

MUV may share data 

A.    With other users. This includes sharing:
1.    With Drivers, 
2.    With other Riders in a shared ride, 
3.    With Riders,
4.    With the MUV account owner if a Rider uses that account, 
5.    With people who refer you to MUV.

B.    At the user’s request. This includes sharing:
1.    With other people at the user’s request 
2.    With MUV business partners whose apps or website you access through MUV, 
3.    With police, fire, and ambulance services in an emergency, 
4.    With insurance companies if you are involved in an incident or report or submit a claim.

C.    With the general public. 

D.    With vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research firms and other service providers or business partners. These include:
1.    Payment processors and facilitators
2.    Background check and identity verification providers
3.    Cloud storage providers
4.    Customer support platforms and service providers
5.    Ad and marketing partners and providers
6.    Data measurement and analytics providers
7.    Research partners, 
8.    Vendors that assist MUV to enhance the safety and security of the MUV Platform
9.    Consultants, lawyers, accountants and other professional service providers
10.    Transportation company partners 
11.    Insurance and financing partners

E.    For legal reasons or in the event of a claim or a dispute. This includes sharing:
1.    If required by applicable law, regulation, operating license or agreement, legal or administrative process or governmental request, or otherwise appropriate due to safety, fraud, or similar concerns.
2.    With law enforcement officials, public health officials, other government authorities, airports (if required by the airport authorities as a condition of providing services on airport property), or other third-parties as necessary to enforce our Terms of Service (link), user agreements, or other policies,
3.    To protect MUV’s rights or property or the rights, safety, or property of others,
4.    In the event of a claim or dispute relating to the use of the MUV Platform,
5.    If you use another person’s credit card, with the owner of that credit card,
6.    With others in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.

F.    If we notify users and they consent to the sharing of their data other than as described in the Notice.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You have the right:

•    To confirm whether MUV is processing your data 
•    To access your data
•    To request deletion of data provided by or obtained about you
•    To request correction of inaccuracies in your data
•    To obtain a copy of data you provided to us and transfer it to another organization if the data is available in a digital format
•    To not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

MUV discloses user data to third parties to enable personalized advertising on apps, websites or other properties owned by MUV or other companies. MUV automatically analyzes your data to connect Riders and Drivers to rides, to track the progress of rides, to calculate fares and earnings, and to process payments.

You may opt out of the processing – collection, use, storage, disclosure, analysis, deletion, or modification - of your data for the purposes of:
•    Targeted advertising – displaying to a user an advertisement that is selected based on personal data obtained from that user’s activities over time and across nonaffiliated websites or online applications to predict the user’s preferences or interests
•    Sale of personal data – sharing, disclosing, or transferring of personal data for monetary or other valuable consideration to a third party
•    Profiling – solely automated processing - in furtherance of a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect concerning your economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements

You may designate an authorized agent to exercise your right to opt-out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data by emailing info@gottamuv.com or calling and providing a proof of attorney or a written and signed permission.

Security of Your Data

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot ensure its absolute security.
 
Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that data as quickly as possible.
 

Changes to the Notice

We may update the Notice from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of the Notice and post the updated Notice on our website. We encourage you to review the Notice periodically for any updates or changes.
